           How to Care for your

         Instrument:

Every two or three months, the instrument should be polished.
Do not use household furniture polish.
For best results, use a product that has been specifically
developed for cleaning string instruments. Have your instrument
professionally cleaned and polished on a regular basis.

The bridge of the instrument may need periodic adjustment.

Always keep the instrument in the case when not in use.

    Never drop your instrument!

Do keep your instrument away from extreme heat or cold.

Care of the Bow: The hair of the bow should be loosened when
the bow is not being used. Loosening the hair removes the tension
from the bow and prevents the stick from warping.

A bow should be rehaired once a year. Rehairing will restore
proper balance & grip to the bow.

As always with musical instruments that are meant
to be played, specialist help should be sought on
    the care of these instruments
